Default Question about city lights???

I ordered a set of CTR headlights for my 99 Civic and the city lights did not come with them.

I am planning on just buying prelude sockets and the prelude quick release clips:

I was wondering what gauge wire I am goiing to need and how to put the wire in the quick release clips?

That was not my question. I was wondering what gauge wire I am going to need and how to put the wire in the quick release clips?

So I can use any kind of 20 gauge wire? How do I put the wire in the quick release clips? What are the light colered things for?

its the easiest to get the Factory honda wires. I made my own. You'll need female (i think it is) connectors and they plug into the socket. I can take pics when i get home tonite after work.

Is there a part number? How much does the wire cost? I did that my sidemarkes and dont really like it, that's why I want to get the click release clips but I dont know how the wire connects to it.

Well, I'm not sure. I think I am confusing myself about it actually.

What quick release clips are you referring to? The factory clips that are on the Preludes?

If so, I think I can dig up a part number for those.

I think, the brown connector just snaps into the sidemarker/city light socket and the other end are suppose to have wires coming out. The only thing I am confused on is how to connect the wires to it.

well, without seeing a picture of the other end, it's hard to say for sure.

I'm going to have to see if I can't dig up a better photo online, unless you have one.

i checked a couple honda parts websites and they don't even list any wires for it.

I could just buy this http://www.passwordjdm.com/pro...=1023 , it already has the wires in the quick release connector but I still would have to buy the city light sockets and I am not sure if it will fit into the Prelude sockets.

They should fit in the Prelude sockets because all of the JDM city lights are the same.

So, that might be your best bet.

Do you know if this is the Prelude socket:

it seems like it would work better than this:
since the place where the bulb goes is longer.

which ones? The first or second pic? If you are talking about the second pic I think the longer ones would work better.

Either one should work. Use your judgement if you think the longer ones will be better for you.
