Help with Ingalls camber kit for my poor R...
An buddy of mine who is an Acura tech and I installed the Ingalls camber kit 3 weeks ago, I have the kit that which mounts to the ends of the "A" arm and you can adjust it 1-3 degrees...After we installed it, he gave me an alignment at Acura and everthing was perfect until we rechecked it, the balljoint had was seperated from the "A" arm about 1/2 in. and I believe the top of the "A" arm or balljoint ipoo pooing the top where shocks mount in the engine bay making a bubble type appearance, almost busting through the metal. So far it has knocked off all the yellow paint in that section and there is a bump there on both sides... I got it aligned again but still did the same thing and we raised the car having a one finger gap all around but still is doing the same thing... Another thing is when I raise and lower the car there is an awful rubbing of the plastic wheel well noise and it stops after the two front tires are off the ground...I dunno if the whole "A" arm ipoo pooing the top or what.... Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.....thanks
you cant move the a-arm too far out or it will contact the car.
camber kits to correct negative camber are BAD and NOT NECESSARY.
take them out.
I had that problem as well as a problem destroying the inboard joints
on my axles because the camber kits stretched the axle out too far.
Trust me, they arent needed for anything 2.5 degrees or less

if you you move your a-arm out alot, it will contact with the body. a solution to it would be to sort of sand the corner edges of the a-arm around the ball joint. I've done it before because i need just a little more clearance. It will help, but when you have to do this, you know your car is too low.

It took me a while to figure out what "ipoo pooing" is lol. [<---- edited]
I agree. Camber kit should not be used for "correcting camber". It should be used to dial in the camber according to your driving preference. It should not be used as a correction, like having camber is wrong.

He meant to say "ipoo pooing" but he typed "ipoo pooing" so the smart filter turned poo pooing into "poo pooing" lol!
