Does anyone have the Microtech LTX8?
I saw that the CFT gsr has it, but i'v never heard of it before. I was reading about it on there site and it sounds like a very good product. But is it better then the hondata s200?

Just wondering, but why do you reccomend the AEM EMS over the hondata? which is better?

everything is labeled, there is about 28 wires or so that you have to run to all your stock sensors very easy. They also have a plug and play harness for obd1 hondas also.
i would recommend microtech for boost applications, but other than that I would just got with hondata for the simplicity and cost of the system.

i would like to know too, i'm thinking about using it on my track s2000. i have an aem ems on my street s2000. the reason why i want to use the microtech is because i dont have the wire hardness for my track s2000 because i bought it as a shell and the previous owner cut the wire hardness
.
.
personally i think the microtech is **** but thats completly cause of the software they use hasn't been updated since the freaking 90's and its horrible. my buddy with a 240sx has one and it was just a nightmare to tune and took way too long you have to key over to every cell you can only change a single cell at a time, timing map is not a matrix based table, ***** just outdated as hell for what they charge for it.

hes right, If you know your sensor's is cake if you have time
do the best wiring job you can.
have to realize is not based off a Honda ECU, its a full blown stand alone management system if you have no experince READ UP ON THIS FIRST.
I had a Microtech LTX8 on my N/A ITB'd FC RX-7 and loved it
but I also had to get some tips from microtech tuners to dial it in correctly, if you want it to run good for DD you have to take the time to tune idle/part/full throttle
If you just have a basic I/H/E cam setup. you might want to go with a chipped honda ecu to save your self some money and time.
