Default ZC crank - is there any interchangable

I have a ZC motor that spun a bearing, just wondering what cranks are interchangable. I've heard that 88-89 tegs are interchangable, but I'm not sure. Also, D16A6 but has 2 different "snout" sizes. Just trying to make sure which one I should get. Thanks.

for your zc any d-series will work . but the best set-up is a crank and harmonic balancer out of a 1992 civic ex. You want to get the one with the 24mm snout, also you will need to get the alt pulley with that do to its a 4 rib set-up. Its a drop in afair besides getting the proper bearing clearance.

because that was the only year that they used a real harmonic balancer instead of the solid steel hub from before and after.

or you could go with the 2001 D 1.7 crank and the 1.7 rods and notch the block and have a stroked zc

um i think you mean 2001+ civic cranks. The 2000 civic is a 1.6L crank!

Henry ill pick up the z6 crank tommorow and balancer. Hopefully they wont charge for both!
HAHA ill say its not able to come off!
ROTFL...... I love how everyone screws them at UWI!!!

better check your timing gear for the crank to make sure it will fit the 24mm Z6 snout - your ZC is probably 22mm, in which case you need 86-87 D16A1 or 88 (some were 22mm and some were 24mm) D16A6 - you must use your ZC crank gear
