I bought used coilover. Seller was saying they are ground control but How would I know if they are not fake. Is there any other company make coilover in RED and GOLD.

But it does not say Ground control on those coilover.

 

Do the coils say "Eibach"?

were you the one that just bought the ones off ebay for like 49.99? if so they were RS racing coilovers (suck)
if not, then i dunno... rs racing comes in gold and red, thats all i can think of

yup... i saw some pretty convincing knockoffs on ebay. they even have a locking perch just like the GC's. on the GC's, you should see eibach lettering and numbering on the spring, though it rubs off over time somtimes. new GC's have the up/down direction engraved on the adjusting collar.

try comparing them to http://www.ground-control.com

you can also try giving 'em a call and ask how to tell them apart from knockoffs

 

ground controls should have the name on the part where you adjust the height along with arrows saying up/down....and it should say eibach on the spring....i've had those on my car for over 3 years and the name hasn't came off yet, so i'm sure if they are real then they would have the name still printed on it....

 

ive had mines for 2 years havent came off

 

i think you got knock offs, buddy...hope you didn't buy them for that much
