what to expect from a good paint job
so i'm looking into having some body parts repainted factory color.
is there something i should be looking for to get a good paint job?
like # of clear coats or type of paint used?
Just make sure they match it, that's the biggest thing. They need to get a paint sample from your car so they can color match it to whatever is getting painted. They will handle the rest from there.

well i was thinking they normally paint the factory color and then tint to match the rest of the car (since the rest of the car paint fades a little)
but is there anything i should be looking for as far as paint type? or # of clear coats?

i think the prepping is the most important thing...even with however coats of clear or paint, if the prepping is wack then the paint job will be wack

so basically i should make sure the surfaces are nice and smooth before i send to paint... or have them do the filling/sanding...
