Installed new tires
WoW I installed 2 new Potenza G009's on the front of my hatch today(205/50/15) and it drives so much better now that it did when I had the old stock 185/65/14. I don't have P/S and with the old tires it was hard to turn when stopped, now it feels like I have added P/S I can turn the car with only a finger, and it handles and rides better. I wish I would have know just a good pair of tires would make this much of a diff I would have done it as soon as I got the car. Plus I got both installed for $160.00 !!!
maybe im wrong but won't any new set of tires feel as if u have power steering (at least for the first 100-200 miles)? each set i've gotten felt like that but after a while of street driving they went back to feeling as if i was working out in a gym (no power steering sucks)... lol

I looked at getting a few diff style tire but these are the wides 205 I found we carry about 12 diff style tires at work in a 205/50/15. I was gonna get the S03's but the thread life is low and are mainly for summer driving, but they are one of the best performance tires out. I went with G009's because they have the new uni-t AQ II technology, which is very good in rain, plus they are rated at 50K miles.
