Default 2005 SCCA INR National at Gingerman

Last weekend was the Indiana Norwest Region's 8th annual national race at Gingerman Raceway. And it sure was one for the record books. Here is a story on it.

and here for pictures

I was a cornerworker there for both days, and even though it was my first time with F&C I know I will never work another race in more harsh conditions. The first day (qualifying) was horrible, as it says in the story 30 degree temps, 35 mph wind, and snow. That snow was painful, would sting your eyes and skin. And on race day the track was covered in slush, but thanks to the stewards we got the race in. It was funny as hell that corner 10 built a snowman holding the double yellow, and that corner 11's porta potty blew over (no one was in it though).

To you for working and all the other corner workers..

I was there on saturday picking up my broken car. All I can say was, holy **** it was cold and snowy. It was weird being at the track 2 weeks before with perfect weather and then coming back to snow... Oh wait its Michigan. Thanks god for there huge cups of hot chocolate.

Ryan-Who froze his *** off while to loading his kaa on to the trailer and would be to lazy to run in that weather
