What car to buy after type R?????
Is the S2000 the next step up???
I have owned almost every form of Honda....
97 civic, 97 prelude, 98 GSR, 01 R....
I have also thought about getting an Is300 or even a WRX....and I went as low as looking at 4 runners. I am tired of every time I pull in to a gas station I have to pop my hood for some one. Also some one has spit on my car twice in the last couple months, and I have been followed a few times by civic hatches. One guy informed me as he was screaming out the window of his red neck truck, "type R's are for ****"....why didn't some one tell us this!!!!
What is your next ride going to be???....and no one better say my mom....

dont rip the R apart and make an ugly hatch out of it...let someone who wants a whole ITR appreciate it.
Mitsu Lancer EVO VII or Nissan 350Z.
Who knows...maybe neither. Maybe I'll hold onto my ITR for life.
I already have a hybrid and it's a bit more fun to mod than the ITR (because the ITR is already so tuned...it costs big bucks to get anywhere with it).
I sometimes think that having a nice daily driver (EVO, maybe even a WRX) and keep the hybrid for racing might be the answer to my problems.
I guess I should concentrate less on these new cars coming out and more on getting my **** back in school.

I thought that's what you were implying, Mr. Beefcake.

only 2 weeks to go!!!
keep the R, that's my advice.
I'm gonna drive mine for a long time, my next purchase is going to be a big one 911 C4S, unless they drop a 2 more cylinders into the NSX.

Recently, I've been toying with the idea of trading in the R in a couple of years for a more luxurious and classy high performance ride. But my senses come back to me knowing how much I would miss the R. Luckily, my girlfriend has found an interest in learning how to drive a manual. So I'm going to bring up the idea of getting a used 1998 4-door BMW M3.
1.) 4-door for future kids
2.) BMW for luxury and class
3.) M3 for high performance

a lot of people told me to dump my teg body and drop all my R parts into a hatch...but the problem is, it's still a hatch. I wouldn't look at my hatchback every day and fall in love like I do with my R...the DC2R is a beautiful car, and yellow just makes it prettier.
supercharge a benz and roll on some 22"s y0!
I would look at bimmers, audis and the like, it depends...but then again, I hafta get an R first. it's my 10 year plan...I've got awhile to go. good luck bro!

To make a hatch look good it would take $10-15k....not worth it.....after all it would still be a hatch. Good for a second car or a track only car, but myself I like girls....hence no civic hatch....
probably very true....but i can work with whatever i get. What i would hope to not do is...buy an evo in 2003 and then the STI gets a redesign in 2004. I don't need the latest....but i'd like to benifit from the next gens stuff.

...BUT, if you're buying a car to pick up chicks you're buying a car for the wrong reason IMO.
Women love convertibles...and they don't give a shiat about JDM anything.
