So I pulled my stock speakers out and noticed there are actual plugs. Do you guys re-use those plugs some how or just snip them and solder direct. There are 2 blue wires and to two grey. Greys on one side, blue on the other? Simple question I hope, Thanks

 

i just snipped them and soldered it.

How do you know which one is power and which one is ground?

what i did on my 98 civic was snip the wires and extend the wires with extra speakerwire incase i might have to snip the wires shorter in the future since after you cut the harness off, the wires will be short and will be difficult to wire bak to the speakers. if your harness connected to the speaker is directly on the speaker like mines was, then your gonna have to snip the wires (and/or buy new harnesses for easy plug and play) to connect to your new speakers

 

With the 4 wires on each door panel. What goes to what side of the speaker

Yes the rear speakers are a pain, just keep the alcohol close.
But, in all seriousness just like anything else after the first time it's not bad.
