I signed up for a Nasa membership using the online payment link about a month ago, but I havent heard back or received anything and my credit card hasnt been charged.
does the online pay system just not work and I should pay at the next autoX or will I get it eventually?

they were having problems with the system at the time, the same thing happened to me and they e-mailed me telling me to retry because it had not gone through
try it again and see what happens

this is the e-mail they sent me:

A internal records audit has revealed your information from a old link contained on the NASA Virginia website that was not working when you attempted to sign up or renew NASA membership and or purchase a text book. These transactions date from June 2001 through January 13, 2002.

If you you registered through this method, NASA was unable to receive your request and therefore you did not receive your material. You will also be happy to know that your credit card was not charged and those purchases will not be processed.

It is important to mention that some people on this list have found their way to the new website to process their memberships for 2002. You can login with your username and password to check that your membership is active.
