firing order!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
i know that this is a honda forum, but on my daily driver which is a 4.3l gm motor, some how i have crossed up the wires on it, i labled them but i have crossed somethin up. i need to know how to find out what is the #1 cylinder. what is a way that i can find it? thanx
set the engine so that #1 cyl in at TDC and check to see which post on the distributor the rotor is pointing to.
That, or call a GM dealership and talk to the service department, i'm sure they'd be able to tell ya...or check in a haynes.

cool I thought it was the same as its big brother (305 ,327,350,400) but I haven't messed with them in a few years so it was kinda foggy the 4.3 ( if I recall is just like a 350 with the back 2 cylinders gone)
