Help with front lip install? for 94-97 type RS lip......
BEFORE ANYONE TRIES TO HATE OR SAY WHATEVER READ THE "PS" NOTE ON THE BOTTOM.....
ok so i ordered this lip from Revolution Autowerks and it said ITR lip for the 94-97 with the correct picture for it but wen i got it it looks more like the Type RS lip....either way it took forever to get to me so i finally got it in today and i have no idea how to put it on....came w/no instructions, no bolts, no nadda....but it did come complete (as i've heard jdmshit sometimes comes in bent in half....) but yea here are some pix hope it helps.....

ps...i've searched some but nothing really concrete...especially for a lip like this one....

Was going to say, its not that hard, drill some holes or just screw in, 2 in the center, one one each side, kake sure to get self tapping.
.. shoulda went with the JDM **** one. Even though it comes bent up, you can get it to form it straight by letting it sit in the sun. Plus fitment is superb.
i just posted for this topic in the integra forum..
i had the same one...i think. It didnt fit on my 94/ well it did but it didnt look good and it had huge gaps where the lip bends around the bumper.
hope you get it on, it looks sweet

ya shoulda jus gone with the jdmshit one (the picture they showed on the website was this
)....at least ppl have reported good fitment....i dont even know how this one will do...but here's a few more pix to see if it'll help for anyone....and regarding to any holes for screws in this lip there are two of them on the top in the middle and that is all...the sides dont have a lip and i took a picture of how i think it would fit onto the bumper? more feedback please! thanks for everyone that's replied to this...

EDIT: whoa, nevermind... went back and look at the lip again and that looks exactly like the moooogen style lips for the 96-98 civic front bumpers.
umm, i would say put the 2 screws on each end of the lip to support the sides, and then for the middle you'll probably end up either having to put 2 screws down through the piece that sits in the grill portion of the bumper, or what i did for a buddy of mine was put 2 or 3 black pop-rivets in there so it looks a little cleaner.

do you have any pix of what you did for your buddy's lip? and for teh screws on teh side since it didnt come drilled on teh side i'd have to go do that? along with drilling a small hole on the wheel well side on teh bottom part of the bumper?

alright first ya gotta stop spelling THE as TEH... not cool.
but heres a picture that should help you out. bored at work, so here ya go.

** for the middle three, thats where i would use black pop-rivets and the 2 sides, you can just use black self-tapping screws.

Thurman-thanks a lot for all your help man.....as for the "teh" MY bad on that i was typing real quick and didnt bother to correct my spelling.....but yea i have a few more questions....so you say to take two screws in the side to hold it up better but when i hold up the lip to the bottom where it would be screwed it looks like it only would fit for one screw, check this....

oops...my bad on the delayed reply after your update....but wait so i see where u would connect the red and yellow holes together but would that line up the lip straight?

to get it straight, you'll basically just kind of have to either eye ball it or take a measuring tape all along the middle edge in the middle of the bumper, and make sure its even all around to the sides.
screw in the middle three first so that it's centered, then that way you'll be able to move the sides of the lip up and down as desired for the correct lining up.
seeing as how it looks like its abs plastic, you'll probably have to force it a little and pull to get the back around the side of the bumper. anymore questions, just ask

i just checked the fitment again and with the directions you gave me, it's looking good, may have to do a lil stretching of the lip here and there but yea....we'll see and i'll try to get this on in the weekend and post pix up! thanks for all the input!
the red lip in the picture you have and the actual lip you have are different...that lip you have is like a generic type r lip that they make for every model honda...my opinion, altho youre not really asking for it is get the jdmshit lip...everyone is right tho, just screw that thing in...either way youre car will look cool im sure:.
