Default FS: 1998 Ninja 250R - 8100mi - Red/Maroon - Runs Perfectly

SOLD!!!!! thanks for the interest!

Hey guys, selling my learner bike. I've had this bike for a year, and put on about 300 miles. Really easy to ride bike, previous owner dropped the bike once so there is a small crack in the fairing that can be fixed easily. You can see from the pictures that the bike is in great condition, the frame is straight, no rust, nothing falling off the bike etc.

This bike has really been a lot of fun to ride, upkeep is rediculously cheap, I am 21 and my insurance is $250 PER YEAR, the bike gets on average around 45MPG (yes, 45), and when driven only on highways, has gotten 55MPG.

I'm selling the bike because I may be moving in the near future, and wouldn't want the bike to sit around unused.

I'm sure I wont need to list out reasons why you would want to buy a bike, as I am sure you've already gone over it in your head. But as a first bike, the ninja has been awefully forgiving and can easily hang with the larger bikes around the twisties. When looking at other bikes, you will definately want to get insurance quotes before even going to see the bike. At the time of purchse, a 2001 CBR would have costed me $1200 a year for insurance (I am a beginner rider, and have an outstanding driving record). Honestly, $250 a year for insurance is unbeatable.

I am firm with the $1200 price as I am in no hurry to sell, and hell, if nobody wants to buy it for $1200, i'll just keep it If you have any questions, dont hesitate to call me at 646-335-6876 my name is len. You may also email me at leonardtlwong@yahoo.com, or at fgahdeeew on AIM (AOL instant Messenger screen name)

More pictures can be taken at your request, please tell me what parts you want pictures of specifically.

yea, definately, its been a great bike, you can definately test ride it providing that you KNOW HOW TO RIDE (not to be a dick )

and if you dont know how to ride, you should definately bring a friend that DOES know how to ride, they'll be able to point things out. I'm a really fair guy, and as of right now, i cant think of anything wrong with the car, i'll even let ya cold start it

right now i'm upstate at Binghamton for school, but I'll be back on Long Island this weekend or the next if you (or anyone else) are seriously interested.
