Whistle noise coming from passenger side engine bay ??
While I am having my car fixed I want to have them take a look at this whistle noise come from the passenger side of the engine bay at 2000 rpm and up usually. Im assuming its a bearing but do not know what.

Does the noise continue when you're not on the throttle? Say, at 50 mph and you let off the gas?
If you think it sounds like a bearing, does the noise increase when making a left-hand turn?

Does the noise get louder (higher pitch) when you accelerate and does it eventually taper off? I had this problem with my baby, but never got around to it before letting her go.
What type of intake system are you running ? Stock air box don`t whistle !
And if its a bearing noise coming from the passenger side , the noise will be made at a certian speed , i.e while the car is moving . Do the whistle noise come even if your car is not moving ? when your car is free and touch the gas peddal and you hear the noise it will be the intake .
With my AEM cold air intake system it whistle alot

When I was running the stock box , when I mean stock all stock , it didn`t whistle ...
I had to take off the upper lid so I can hear the engine scream more because it was so quite

No I am pretty positive it is not the intake, I had somebody look at it and they said it might be a pilot bearing ?? I tried searching but absolutely found nothing. If I take out the resonator will it help me decide whether or not its the intake ??
When you say you take out the resonator I asume that you have a stock air box. When exactly the noise starts , is it when your car is at a certain speed ? or it`s when the car is sitting and you are reving the engine ?
mine whistles depending on throttle position. speed does not matter.
AEM CAI whistles just the same as the stock intake for me
