Default Car being transported by truck, remove front lip?

My car is getting transported by truck back home very shortly. I recently had a WW ITR-style lip installed. Do I need to remove it before putting it on the truck? I'm worried that it will scrape and the paint will get FUBARed in the process.

I know the owner's manual says that for towing you need to remove the lip on an ITR. BTW my car is riding on ITR springs.

Thanks in advance.

It's not hard to remove the front bumper Dan. We've had to do it on a few racecars before. The only pain is that screw in the wheel well.

So are we supposed to respond to this on T-I and here???

I say take off the lip...

Then any scratches will be covered when you put it back on...

The lip is not on the car when on the transport to the dealership when new.

I'd take a cue from that.

Good info, thanks. I think I'll just remove the lip.
