Default Expo 5 - Quick update / Time to Ask Questions

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to give a quick update and provide an opportunity for folks to ask any questions that might be out there.

Camping - Camping will go directly through the track on arrival. If you have any questions or concerns about camping, please call them @ 1-888-436-RACE.

Dyno @ the Track - we still need several more individuals in order to have the dyno available. The current list and information can be found at: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1157382

Event Information - soon we will have available a document that will provide hotel information, direction to and from the track and hotel, maps of the areas, run groups and respective colors and assigned car numbers, instructor assignments, schedules for Friday - Sunday, tips on every corner of the track, tech forms, track rules, etc. I will email everyone and also post it on Honda-Tech when it becomes available.

Please look at http://www.itrca.com/events/expo5regview.php and make sure your status is correct.

If you have any questions, please ask.

Upadated 5/4/05

The selling and purchasing of driver's spots will not be allowed after May 15th.

Please download and read the track manual for MAM that was put together by the Porsche Club at http://www.itrca.com/events/expo5.php . It is very worthwhile and it has a lot of good information.

Sponsorship:

King Motorsports is proud to support the ITR Expo for the 4th consecutive year. We will be offering a 10% discount on any Hondata product purchased from now through June 1. (Pocket Programmer and Rommulator not included). We are also offering 10% off any OBD2-OBD1 Boomslang conversion harness and 10% off any Hawk brake pads and Motul Brake Fluid. King Motorsports will also be offering 5 gift certificates for the banquet raffle.

5/5/05
The hotel offers WAN free of charge to its guests.

5/8/05
May 15th will be the last day to sign up and/or pay for the banquet as a guest.

I just added my name to the list of Dyno-Goers.

So, I guess we need 7 more people to make that happen. Anyone else?

I will also be waiting patiently for more Event Information.

Being that this is my first time at Expo, what kind of things should I bring with me?

So far I figured...

-Oil
-Coolant
-Brake fluid
-Tire gauge
-Extra wheel/tire for each side (in case of puncture)
-Tape for masking off lights
-Helmet/Gloves
-Tools that I may need to make minor repairs
-Camera

..any thing I'm missing?

Yeah, or you can do it at my place if you get in town early. Yes, there is a decent sized paddock.

Just park by our campsite Matt, not so close that we burn your car to the ground, but close enough for us to see it. No one will steal it.

There will be security from Friday evening through Sunday.

Another group is renting the dragstrip - I think it is the Harely guys.

Thanks, I wasn't really worried about the car, its not worth much stolen (its a Mistubishi ) just wondering about leaving everything else behind.

Is there a place to dispose waste oil? Or do I have to lug it back with me

I plan on changing my oil Friday after the long haul out there and after the weekend is over
