It's not really an "automatic D16Z6". Just find another D16Z6 and swap it out using your same transmission.

well i dont have the matainence record on the transsmission or know how many miles it has. i dont think its the stock tranny because it has this tag stamped on it that says property of remanufactor or something. so i minuss well go ahead and swap it out too.

Well look in the Classifieds for a D16Z6. Not many automatics here, so I'm willing to bet you'll need to find one at a junkyard, but then again, you won't know the mileage.

How many miles do you have? Is it running rough or burning oil?

195k it used to run smooth but lately the idles been getting messed up and it is kinda rough. it burned a little oil but i switched to 10w30 and i havent seen any dissappear. yeah people say i can hit like 300k or whatever but i drive a lot and i dont want to be gettin stuck in the middle of no where.

I think it'll be easier to fix the problems rather than swap out for something that has problems to begin with that you don't know about.
