Default Help! NON Honda Koni Sport Tech Info

So i've got an 1989 Dodge Colt turbo which is sort of a bastard. Some parts are interchangable with DSM things and some are different. Very little development has been done on the car so since some honda hatches are similar in weight/length I have been lurking around here for some FWD suspension setup info. I'm okay with revalving later on but I just need a place to start on my spring rates with Koni sports.

I'm want to pick autoX spring rates in the 500/500 range and need to figure out if the model specific Koni sports (8614-1172 and 8040-1080) can handle these rates. Who can I contact and what info do I need to give them?

Thanks for any help,
Chris Plesko

That's just below the limit that the Honda Konis handle (typically.... I ran 550 some complain of issues at 400 but....). I would *think* you'd be ok. Best option is to pm CRX Lee and see what he can tell you. He works for Koni so if anybody on the board knows or can find out, it'd be him.

Thanks. I didn't know who worked for Koni here. I can go lower if needed. I just want to get a baseline on the car this season so I know what direction to go when I get a revalve and there is no one to ask who's done it before basically.
