Default Brake Question?

After me and my bud install a whole new caliper with pads onto my GSR and bleed the brakes, my brakes was really smooth where i had to floored it in order for my car to stop. My bud said i could adjust it but I did not quite know what he told me to do. Any suggestions or comments?

Re-bleed all four calipers. It sounds like you have air in them still. Use clear tubing on all the bleed valves, so you can see if there are still bubbles coming out of them. I go all the way around 3 times bleeding each caliper 6-10 times each. Be aware that the bleeding sequence is different on a lot of hondas, so make sure you are following the correct pattern found in the Helms manual (don't do the furthest to closest method)...

Also the buddy system is best for bleeding your brakes. Those cheap (under $500) vacume bleeders will force microscopic air bubbles into the fluid. This seriously reduces the effectivness/lifespan of the brake fluid...
