you can buy a speedo healer (brand) or a speedo recalibrator or some sort, if you want to pay for it.
A lot of the RC guys like to use the Jim Ahlman unit, link is below

Strange question...
Has anyone installed the universal unit on a car?

Thanks

Remember its not like you just install it and your speedo is fixed. You have to either use a stop watch and land markers to find out how fast you're really going to punch it in or find one of those radar machines they leave out in the road.

i put a bicycle speedometer on a lap timer holder and calibrated it for my front wheel. Whenever i want to know how fast i'm going, or what time it is (thanks RC) i just look at that.

Yeah but how do you know how fast you're going when you're doing a wheelie

I have access to a Mustang Dyno that can tell you exact speed at the rear wheels.

I swapped the rear axle on my 760ti and the tone ring has different pulses.

The speedo is now reading ~1/2 of what it should and I need to change the signal.

I wonder if the +99%/-99% change that the unit can fix my issue.
