im getting a sweet deal on an arc induction box, but it's for an eg6. anyone know for sure if this will fit the R?

 

EG6 ARC airbox only has 1 inlet; the airflow is way too restricted IMHO.

You need the DC2 (or EK) ARC airbox, both have 2 inlets (1 on top, 1 on bottom).

 

arc sucks in the upper rpm's.

plus it sounds like a vacuum cleaner... i sold mine to get an hks system..not sure if the itr version is better, but the eg6 one sucks.

 

i have the j's racing one, and i was just getting it because it's cheap! so it's not worth it?

i dont think so... not unless your getting it for like $50 bucks... but if your paying over a bill for it i would personally pass on it.. but you do what you want...

do a search on arc intake in the archives tons of others same experience.... i got it free so i tried it out and it sucked ***. looks cool but function is
