Default should i change the charcol canister

ok incase no one knows my story, somoene put antifreeze in my gas tank so i was having some idle problems and i when to to check my vacuum hoses and i removed the hose from canister and the idle went to normal i plugged it back in and the idle started to die down again like it wanted to turn off i pulled the hose off and plugged it and it was running fine what should i do? i was saying to change it because i was thinking that the canister might have anti-freeze in it

i know i thought the same thing should never have to replace them but the coolant might of got into the canister and i just want to play it safe beside i don't know why it is when i hook up the line to the canister it bogs down to like 200 rmps maybe i should plug it in and let it sit for a while see what happens if it turns off i know there is something wrong

I'm trying to think of how coolant could have gotten into the canister... all it sees is vapors. Or should see. Any coolant that got into the gasline would be sprayed right into the ports so theres no chance of residual coolant getting sucked or blown into any vacuum lines.
Hmmmm........
But yea, something seems funky.

When you pulled the hose off, did you plug the end? Or did you just let it hang there, sucking in air, which would raise your idle speed.

Also, find out who put antifreeze in your gas tank and make them drink it.

Could your vacuum lines and hoses be screwed up? Somebody been in there messing with something? We had an Integra in the shop a few years ago that the guy had antifreeze in the gas. Turned out they had the engine out of it and put the hoses back on wrong. They had one of the small coolant hoses connected to the evap system.
