AEBS studs...where do they come from?
I just got ahold of some AEBS main studs for the first time for a customer motor. They look nice, but the bag full of nuts/washers says Nissan on it and has some part #s. Are AEBS studs just some other OEM stud that happens to fit Hondas?

I am going to call Nissan tomorrow, anyone else have any insight into this?

Wow, never seen that before.
Keep us updated on what you find out. I wouldn't put it past AEBS to rebadge Nissan parts and up the price. Its unlikely, though.

AEBS not ARP
I use ARP in my personal motors....I know they know fasteners and they make their own. We shalls ee what becomes of this.

That's a part number for a Nissan thrust washer.
Somehow the studs got put in the wrong bag (or whatever bag was handy). The bag was probably a leftover from an engine build they were doing.

Ah interesting. I am still gonna stick with ARP and I still recommend ARP, but these studs seem OK. The only thing I noticed is that the threads dont fit as snugly into the block as the ARPs. Like you can wiggle the main studs around even when they are threaded all the way to the bottom, they only stop wiggling when you torque them to 10 lbs as AEBS suggests.
