IACV Problem and O2 Sensor Problem
Ive got a 2000 Civic EX w/ a 99 D16Y8, the engine light comes coming on with the same 2 codes, One code is for the idle air control valve, i replaced it from my old 2000 D16Y8 motor because it was throwing the code with the 99 IACV. Still throwing the code. Car idles extremely low, timing is right, all new tune up parts still no luck. Also 02 Sensor (Bank 1) Not sure if this is the 02 sensor in the headers or after the cat. I have pacesetter headers for a Z6 and the O2 sensor hole on the headers was up farther so i did a nice wiring job using heat shrinking waterproof connectors the extend the wiring. i also have a high flow cat so im not excatly sure whats going on, my car should be running better than it is. All these problems occur after putting the new motor in.
