5zigen 5ZR rims
ya 5zigen wheels are crappy! and they are too heavy. this is a guy that goes to the track pretty often with us, he has them in bronze on his type R.

If it is gonna be 5zigen, go with the Beckkets. Those are dope especially the bronze ones. Good Luck, I like em. The 5ZR used to be nice til those god damn TENZO people made fakes. Bastards.
What do u mean FAKE? U got some source to back it up? Cuz' I just purchased tenzo rs-5, and I feel like I just bought generic crap. I thought tenzo were pretty known for genuine japanese rims.
They ARE copies of various wheels. Look at the examples.
Tenzo-R C-Type = Racing Hart Type C's (gee, that's an obvious one)
Difference: Racing Hart Type C's are 3-piece wheels and they cost twice as much.
Tenzo-R Shu = SSR Shumachers
Difference: Again, the SSR's are 2 (or 3) piece wheels and they're forged while the Tenzo-R copies are casted copies.
Tenzo-R RS-5 = 5-Zigen 5ZR Corpse
Difference: The 18" wheels are 2-piece wheels.
Tenzo-R Poke 10 = Blitz Technospeed
Difference: Oh hell, you get the pattern.
Also, look at Tenzo-R's seats. They're complete rip-off copies of Recaro SRD's and Sparco Torinos. Shoulda done your research before buying the wheels. Either way, if you like the look, who cares if you bought copies? It's not a crime. Just beware that a lot of companies like Tenzo-R don't have original wheel designs. Especially if it's a company that makes generic copies of "Type R" gadgets like floor mats and shift *****.

Tenzo also made fake Mugen RNR's, and that makes me MAD! But besides that, they are okay. They get you from A to B. They are not Japanese wheels though. They look like it, but definitely not. Sorry.

ic... that just blows. I wanted the genuine japanese part for my car... I'm gonna call them up to see if I can cancel the order, if not, it'll do for now *sigh*
At least it looks good to me

My point is this if you read the post. 5 Zigen wheels are nice, but it is too bad that Tenzo made replica wheels of them. I didn't say anything about Rotas or who makes fake what. I could care less, I am just trying to help the guy out.

5ZR'S nice...but they won't help your gas mileage because you have to get them bigger...that also means they are heavier...they are nice show rims...
