My 1996 Accord CD/Radio Unit
... yes, the infamous CODE problem... only this time, I have the code, and it doesn't work. I turn the key on my car, turn the radio on to the point where it says "CODE" and then i just start punching in the code through the pre-sets (24216). I'm pretty sure this is the right code cuz I had the dealership remove the head unit and everything to figure out the code just last december.... So now when i Punch in the code it says "error 1" or whatever, depicting the number of times i've failed to put in the "right" code... can anyone give me some pointers or anything? thanks....
I had a problem with my code once. I called the dealer and they just verify some initial info on the car and they will guide you thru with the code.

Verify the code again. Look like the code is not right.

I ran into that problem, but I found the code on a sticker in inner part of the leather (not sure) Owner's Booklet..not sure if all dealerships do it but that's where mine was
well, turns out that the last time the last owner of my car had it done (he gave me the invoice with the code on it), they wrote down the wrong code... I didn't know if it was the wrong code at first, because i went to the dealer and they pretty much told me their was nothing they could do... because they were pretty convinced that that was the right code... so i took apart the dash, removed the radio, and guess what.. the sticker with the ACTUAL code written on it in pen was on the radio.. kinda defeats the purpose of the anti theft feature, no? lol morons.... well, all in all i'm glad i got it working hehe..
