CRV Power Train into H22 swapped and boosted Gen 6 accord
ever been done? any any heads up on what might need to be done to fab this up?
Before I get reamed on this, the answer to "Why?" is simple...it is rare
but then again so is an H22 boosted 6th gen accord with 500 hp
so why not?

Well, I would first start out with a copious amount of blow, and from there it should just come together.
CRV pumpkin diff would pop with that power.

all crvs are automatics, it would be pointless. (sucks dosen't it?)
and even if you dont mind havning an automatic like posted above the transfer case will blow (if something else dosen't first)

^^^ not all crv's are automatics, i worked at the tire dept. at costco and i've driven a couple of manual crv's... they're very rare tho.
this swap has already been done by the 6th gen accord down in san diego minus the crv tranny. he dynoed around 450 to the wheels i believe. i dunno how much you know about the h22 swap for the 6th gen accord, but it's not a simple drop in like it is for the 5th gens.

You are correct. They come with B20's.

The H22 swap has already been done in my 6th gen, and aside from the wiring, it was a pretty easy swap. The only real difficult part was the motor mount on the driver side next to the timing.
My partner at my shop here is liking the idea of an awd 6th gen...he wants to see about putting an rx-7 rear in, custom make the driveshaft and go from there

The CRV tranny will not bolt up to the H22 but i thought that i read about someone who did an H22 swap in their civic and wanted to run an ITR trans so something was fabbed up and he was willing to sell it for like $700. I love to see stuff like this but they are right about it not being easy to keep the CRV components alive behind that much power. After all it was only built to handle 150 hp (not that it wont handle more it is what the CRV has).

it would be a completely custom setup, obviously...you would need an adapter plate to sit between the b20 awd tranny and h22...after that, you would need to modify the undercarriage (chassis) of the accord to have room for the driveshaft, and then a custom rear end would have to be constructed to be able to handle such power...if this is all done, however, you would have one hell of an accord...
however, this swap would be easier on the newer tsx's (jdm accords) as they already have the undercarriage from the factory awd turbo diesel wagons...everything would be a bolt-on affair instead of the custom cutting and welding you will encounter in the 6th gen usdm accord...

Coming to realize that it is going to have to be 100% custom, and need to get away from thinking about mating the B20 setup to an H22. Latest thought (and this is dependent on if the motor that the tranny would come off of spins clockwise or counter clockwise) is to see about an MDX tranny and see how to mate a stout tiptronic setup to it, and then mate that to a gen 2 rx-7 rear end
but all in fun
