Erebuni body kit
Well I'm in the market for a body kit and I liked the mugen but I think theres too many around here where I live so I went lookingand found this one http://www.erebunicorp.com/ge/hcrx88.htm , it's the one on the top. I have no experience with them so I'm just looking for some insight. Getting it fitted is no problem as I can get someone to mold it but quality is.
Thanks
Thanks
well i'm not sure about the "quality" of the kit, but what are you looking for for material? fiberglass or urethane? I happen to like these Erebuni kits more...here's some pics.
i know that VIS also has a lot of options for body kits as well. You check them out yet? I'm not a fan of body kits in general, but hey...it's your choice.

i hate body kits but i like the blue one
red one looks like something someone **** out then put in a blender, drank, then pissed out into a mold that was made by a blind man who was drunk and had no experience and only a DVD cover of the Fast and the Furious to go by that was described to him by a 4 year old who <3's altezzas
but i'm just jaded and hate body kits, to each their own

JDM y0!
JDM y0!
i've got an invader kit like the red one on my rex, and it looks really good. it's that ugly wing that looks bad, the rest looks great. i molded the sideskirts in and it took some fitting, but i got it on. thing is. erubuni is about twice as expensive as everyone else, and they're all the same body kits. look around, and you'll see they want at least 200 more for kits than a lot of other companies, and the quality is no better than anyone else, they're just lookin for suckers.
lol...i knew this would happen. here's an idea...
...the guy is into body kits. instead of telling him to get an uber tite JDM front end, how about you either help him with body kits or shut the **** up? He didn't ask for opinions, or what's "tite" right now.
I don't like body kits, and never have. Just trying to help the guy.

At this point I would like to speak from expeirence. When I first bought my 88 HF I couldnt wait to start working on it. It was my first car I was 18 and I wanted it to be the best CRX in all the world. Since the motor ran strong, slow and strong, I decided to do something to the body. I got the Mugen knock off kit on ebay and was stoked... until I tried to put it on.
I literally had to cut the sideskirts in two and increase the length by a couple of inches. The door caps didnt line up with the side skirts or fenders and had to be trimmed down. The front bumper left a two inch gap inbetween the hood and wouldnt bend to mount in the stock locations. Even though it was a horrible kit I eventually got it all on and painted. I was very happy with the car for a few months, but what I thought was pleasure with the aesthetics of my car was really the satisfaction of completeing a project on the first real thing of value that I had ever owned.
Today I still rock the body kit only because I am a poor college kid. At least now I have a better motor in there but just about everyday I look at the picture on my wall of when I first got my car and wish I had never put that kit on. There's nothing I appreciate more than a clean stock looking CRX. It was truley a revolutionary design and in my opinion the greatest looking Honda ever made. So step back and let this post sink in. After that do as you please as it is your car and enjoy your stay ay Honda-Tech.

WORST build quality ever.

Their customer service is twice as bad as their quality
I wouldn't buy from them out of pure spite.
If your not willing to do major fiberglass surgery, buy a kit that is known to fit decently (i.e. wings west)
P.S. Don't forget the dope hood wing

LOL

I say no kit at all. Everyone will say kits are ghey then tell u that u must buy a JDM kit.
Your new, so yea... u probably want to have the "coolest" looking car. However its in ur best interest to learn about the car and clean it up before you make any crazy plans.
Going fast... well... atleast "quick" is better than worrying about ur kit/JDM front getting scratched.

Hey there the Blue car is actually a Xenon Body kit and is a urethane kit really good quality, no modification needed fits perfect. Erebuni is the distributor for Xenon. Heres some pics of my cars doesnt look dated like the picture. You can actually look around more for the Xenon CRX kit if you dont want to deal with Erebuni
WHY? (makes my head hurt) ok (deep breath) like spend your money on new bushings, shock, bearings, rear disc breaks, a swap, turbo, paint, new mouldings, good tires, wheels, cat-back, intake, headers, cam or cams, or get a dog or something. well good luck
I'm sorry to tell you but you can't come on HT and asked about body kits.
By the way how does your car run, any rust, leaks, surging idle, ect.... sike nah man I'm only messing with you.
You will regret it in the long run................

i really like the xenon , is that a lip kit?
for body kits even if you find a decent looking one you will hate it by the time its on your car.. If you manage to get it on your car and don't hate it you will once you hit a curb or small animal or dip and you smash your gay *** fiberglass, body kits are a waste of money. For some reason nobody will beleive you untill they get their own.
