Why would you park a caR like that in a school parking lot?

most important question did you have the club and the alarm armed on the car. My buddy got his 99 gsr ripped off in Glendale it was pretty stock clean and low miles. If a car is loaded with goddies and you have a copy of the actual police report showing it was stolen then recovered you can get more back than using the theft salvage story with no paper to back it up. Alot of scammers try that one. I have seen people total there car tell the other pearson they will take care of it. Damage over $500.00 is to be reported to DMV as well as you insurance broker. But people have flatbed tow trucks get the car out of there take it to a shop. They try to make it straight knowing that the value to fix it right is worth more than the car which makes the insurance ajuster salvage the ride. Your shell will turn up again. You could buy it back from the insurance but now it will be a double salvage and that I do not know the guide lines in that situation good luck. Next car low jack It Is the only way in Los Angeles. There are guys who go to car meets just to get your lic plate number peep out your parts then try to rip you off later. Sorry about the bad news. I think driving a Honda or Acura or any car that is of your dreams with out full coverage is nuts i mean come on there is only like 16 million people alone in the Los Angeles county area alone

go to the next honda tech meet in so cal see if you can see any of your parts floating around. You would be surprised. Like the In & out right in between Glendale & eagle Rock. Check out the cars and the people you can see the way some of them are grouped up some sitting down outside eating and righting down your lic plate number trying to get there inventory up so they can bank off your hard earned parts. All the magazines warn us removable steering wheels peadal locks clubs removing the main. If your car Is hot and someone wants it they will just pay a tow truck driver $1,000 he will use a stinger which makes it so he just backs up to your car to arms go under the front and off your **** goes. That is what I hated about Los Angles In the end Eagle Rock was pretty nice until like 1999. Just imagine how many rides get snatched in Montery park San Gabriel, Rosemead places close to pit crew and autolink. I would park my car in the teachers parking lot arm it club it and put a car cover over it and a rattle snake under the seat and a. Crutchfeild.com has the alarm that goes in the 735 bmw oem lots of features a real alarm not like a viper. To bad the police don't sell those wheel locks like when you don't pay your tickets. You know the big yellow wheel lock that takes a blow torch to probably get it off. Maybe the campus security guard was slid a few hundered to look the other way. You never no every one is on the take at one point or another

A stolen car is a stolen car. Its not as if only ITRs get stolen at an alarming rate, Civics and Integras alike have the same problem.

sorry to hear about the stolen car.

they will find it it just wont have anything that he loves that was on it. If I was In Los Angeles Cali I would get full coverage with a good insurance company like farmers, state farm, AAA, or allstate. I would get a folder from office depot keep all the sales receipts and money that has been invested in the car labor prices do not count I would scribe all my parts the header inside of the rims block everything. Then I would right a note kind of like the one soldiers carry and leave it in the glove box. Along with a great Mugen flare The note would read dear car theives you guys are ******** for stealing my car but can you do me a favor after you steal everything can you please use a super soaker squirt gun filled with gas wet my car down inside and the engine bay roll up the windows and toss the Mugen Flare on fire in to the car. I want to make sure my Insurance company is gonna work for me this time. Insurance companies love to deny claims

Wow that sucks. I drove my Integra to that campus daily for over 2 years with no problems. In fact, there are many people who drive very modified cars there and many people who dive expensive cars there. IMO, I don't think it's a problem about being at that school, I think someone was out for you/your car.
