Default A belated intro and my R's finished body work.

I never made a proper introduction thread to introduce me as a member of the ITR family, so here it is now!

<-------- John, local to the SoCal area. I'm not new to Hondas. My first car was a GSR, but I totaled that.

Shortly after that I began building a race EH (EG) hatch. The plans for that car never went through so I was left with a 1/2 done racecar.

On Nov of last year I decided to make my dreams come true and I picked up a 98 CW ITR.

The story goes on: Last xmas eve a 91 240SX coupe ran into my car, leaving a very nasty dent on the driver's side fender:

Luckily my insurance and his insurance sent me a nice compensation for my suffering. But I couldn't get my car into shop until just a few weeks ago when I was on spring break. Now here's some snappies of my car in its current condition:

No more dent!

I am from nowhere!

And here's some teasers for my upcoming plans within the next month:

For those of you with good eyes...you're already thinking that they're not going to fit

So that's what this is for:

What's a set of good coils w/o some good sways to match it?

And what's a good suspension? With a decent brake setup to match the suspension?

Thanks for looking and welcoming me into the DC2R family

Nice ITR!! Did you powder coat the wheels gunmetal, or did you just switch out? Personally, I think it would look like sex with some of the 16" JDM wheels. But still, very clean!

No I didn't powdercoat the wheels. I know it's supposed to come in white but the guy I bought it off of threw on the 00-01 15 incher gunmetals.

<----- will go 16x7 in the future. 98 ITRs deserve to be converted to 98 spec

While you might be from "nowhere", lol. You might wanna take care of that plate on the black hatch before too many people see this.
