Default my dyno LS/VTEC

finally got it dyno. the car has never been tuned!

mods:
- B18B1 block
balanced bottom end
ITR piston
shot peened rods
micro polished crank
arp rod bolts
ITR oil pump
ITR water pump
new bearings
new rings
all new seal

Head-
b16a1 head
ITR intake mainfold
Skunk2 stage 2 cams
stock cam gears
ITR valve train
ITR throttle body
stock injectors
GSR Tranny
CM stage 2 clutch
Stock flywheel
DC sports 4-1 header 2.5 collector
HKS Hyper muffler with Apexi
2.35in piping
Redline performance chipped p28 ecu



what do you guys think?

Pretty good except that dip when VTEC comes on. I wonder how it would look if you set it later. TQ is kinda low too, did you do any tuning to it on the dyno?

havent tuned it yet it was just a baseline. yea i just got a vtec contorl and i set the vtec at 6300 and it pulls all the way now.

Looks like your a/f ratio is pretty well tuned to begin with... As for the results, I say they are pretty low. I put down the same numbers, only more torque with a B18C1 with stage one cams and a stock intake, and with a **** poor a/f ratio curve on the dyno... no tunning.

is type r valve train good enough for skunk 2 stage 2s???? i thought it was recommended to upgrade the valve train if your getting passed stage 1

No. Do not run r valvetrain on stage 2's. You will get coil bind.

exactly i looked up at his head setup and it said itr valve train. i was like wtf????

upgrade your valve train or you're going to coil bind.

Coil bind is going to destroy either the springs, retainers, rockets, cam lobes, or all of the above
