that is pretty damn thick but no it wont mess them up just make them work little harder, honda motors like thin *** oil, but if you have a prob with motor gion through oil then you can use a thicker weight

The only time I used 20w50 oil was in the summer time in the desert w/ temp of 120+ degrees. My engine ran fine without straining at all. But after the summer heat was over I switched back to 10w30 or 5w30 oil.

No. I used valvoline 50 weight race oil for years in an teg it made the valves rattle a little until it warmed up but 20w50 won't hurt.

correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Quaker State and Penzoil are parrifin wax based oils.

This means there is some wax in the oil to give it the lubrication it needs.

Ever seen a motor that has used this kind of oil for a long time? The valvetrain and almost everything else for that matter will be covered in gunky crap. IF that were to clog your motor, say bye bye....

I stick to Mobil 1, good stuff.

AMSoil is available at Canadian Tires.

I use Motul 8100 5W30 for winter, and 300V 10W40 for summer. But alot of people also use AMSoil and Mobile which I believe are also great oils.
