that is pretty damn thick but no it wont mess them up just make them work little harder, honda motors like thin *** oil, but if you have a prob with motor gion through oil then you can use a thicker weight

The only time I used 20w50 oil was in the summer time in the desert w/ temp of 120+ degrees. My engine ran fine without straining at all. But after the summer heat was over I switched back to 10w30 or 5w30 oil.

quaker is crap plz dont use. i used to work at a lube shop and found out a lot about oil.

This oil is brand new, you said you used to work in "lube shop", have you tested this specific kind?....Any proof?

hmm... you may have solved my problem i just recently changed to mobil 1 10w50 and since than i've had a valve rattle ... maybe i'll give an oil change a try this weekend cause it's been bugging me

correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Quaker State and Penzoil are parrifin wax based oils.
This means there is some wax in the oil to give it the lubrication it needs.
Ever seen a motor that has used this kind of oil for a long time? The valvetrain and almost everything else for that matter will be covered in gunky crap. IF that were to clog your motor, say bye bye....
I stick to Mobil 1, good stuff.

AMSoil is available at Canadian Tires.
I use Motul 8100 5W30 for winter, and 300V 10W40 for summer. But alot of people also use AMSoil and Mobile which I believe are also great oils.
