very good comp test and leak down results. wats the prob???
7000 miles on my b18c R since rebuild
p30 pistons o.s 0.25mm
spoon h/g
toda goodies and 0,0 timing
now compression test yielded 250 on all 4 cylinders
leakdown tes was 1% and 3% max. across the cylinders.
car was run in properly for 800 miles, no booting it. then tuned.
but the mo fo of my engine burns 1 litre of oil every 100 miles or so, depending on how it is driven,
blue smoke comes out under hard accel. none on decel. and none on partial throttle
wat can be the prob, before i pul the head to see if it is the rings or the stem seals?? any other checks i can do to see what the hell it could be??/
any inout would be great

could be a cracked oil ring , hard to make a guess but you should check the plugs there should be oil deposits on one or more of them
Did it smoke when you first fire up then engine then it got progressively worst? I would check the valve stem seals especially if you had black coated valves. I noticed alot of times the coating would wear and then oil would get past the coat valves. Also alot of times thestem seals are mis-installed. My friend had his valve stem seals replaced three times before they got it right.
Do you have anything to help in the venting of the crankcase?
SUPPOSEDLY, the stock pcv system on hondas is barely adequate. Once you add displacement and/or rpm's, you quickly reach the pcv systems capacity. The result is oil being forced passed your rings and into your combustion chamber...
Another sign of excessive crankcase pressure is leaking seals. Is your oilpan gasket leaking? cam seals? anything?
In my case,I could not get my oilpan to stop leaking. I tried oem and aftermarket gaskets. After installing one of those "oil catch can breather kits", my oil consumption just about disappeared and no more leaky oil pans.
Just a thought....
