Default removing a/c evaporator?

my a/c system has long been gone, and the a/c evaporator is still in the car. if i take it off, will it affect my heating? like if i cant get heat in winter or something.. i can live without a/c, but not heat.. lol

just yank her out. ooh almost forgot. make sure you have the replacement duct before you pull it out or you WON'T have any heat.

It doesn't really weigh anything. 3lbs would be the most I bet. I don't know what a replacement duct is but I took the evaporator out of my EM1 and my heat works. As long as you don't do anything under the dash your heat should still be there.
