ok im getting ready to buy new jdm itr hid headlamps and they dont come with the hid bulbs or hid ballast. if i was to throw in a different hid ballast and hid bulb (from a bmw, lexus, etc...) would the beam pattern and everything be the same as the stock stuff?

 

It's the optics of the headlight assembly (lenses, projectors, etc.) that create the beam pattern. The only stipulation is that you have to use d2s HID capsules.

you can use s2000 bulbs/ballasts.
