97 Camaro RS - 30th Anniversary Edition
Hello H-T
Not a honda - and I expect flames, but bump if you see it and maybe somone is looking for a gf/wife/mom-mobile or a cruiser for themselves.
Selling a 97 Camaro RS 30th Anniversary Edition for my in-laws. They are the second owner, purchased the car with 7k miles on it.
Current mileage reads - 69,802 miles and will go up SLOWLY during process of sale (20 miles/week?)
Car is in great condition and was maintained flawlessly. It is all original, never modified and always adult driven. The only non-OEM part is the Eclipse CD player.
Car as you can is bright red with grey cloth interior. It has the OEM ground effects kit and OEM chrome wheels. It is AUTOMATIC transmission and has 3.8 liter V6 engine. The car averages 28mpg. The maintenece hisotry is impeccable. Within the last 2,000 miles, the car recieved: new front and rear brakes, 4 brand new tires, timing belt and water pump along with tune up (plugs, wires, filters). This car was wife driven, husband mantained. The car was a North Dakota car it whole life. It was driven mostly summer time - but was driven occasionally during winter. This is a rust free car, ND does NOT use salt during winter months.
There are 2 problems with the car. The first is s dent in the rear quarter panel. Its is approximately 4" long. There is NO paint damage and can be fixed with paintless dent removal. I have an estimate for $125 from paintless dent for smoothing it out. It is not creased, nor did it break paint. The other known problem is that the backlighting on the fan/heater control recently went out. I suspect only a burnt bulb, possibly a blow fuse. Its VERY minor but I am VERY honest about selling the car.
The options on the car are power windows and locks, AC, cruise, power steering/brakes, T-Tops, CD player, keyless entry, traction control (SGS), foglights, ground effects, etc.
The car is a 30th Anniversary Edition and if it stays in this condition - will be a collector some day. Its a great "cruiser" type car. Its GREAT on gas and your wife/gf will love the automatic transmission. It is in great condition, was maintained fantastic and is the true meaning of a head turner. Someone will enjoy this car. The car is being sold in Minneapolis, MN by myself. I have the clean title in hand.
Asking price - $6700/obo..
Pricing is 1-2000$ below book value depending on where you look. A great price, solid car and fun to drive. Please e mail or call for details.
Thanks for the space H-T (Dustin)
