Here is how the story goes ran slicks on my cars last year had an issue with the passenger one hitting the fender and chamfer the side of the slick so now i got one good slick that has maybe 10 passes on it. I read on mickey thompson site where you can buy just one close to where your roll out is that way when you do your burn out it will be in the similar to the rollout of the old one anyone ever do this or have experience mismatching slick or is it a bad idea?

Whoever you buy your slicks from should match them for you in the first place. If they don't then you should buy your slicks from someone else.
I know John MH always matches the roll out on his.
