Hey, Been thinkin about getting into the B series since i drove my boys B powered Crx. It was nice, like the pull, not much down low but the top end was enough to get the blood pumping. Just need to know how much it usually cost and where did yall get the swap from.

 

my friend at work got his B swap for 400. At first it was a b18 but when they put it in it had a blown headgasket or somethin so they just replaced it with a b16 for free.

 

the complete swap shipped to my door for $1500.........through hmotorsonline.com.....but then i got a header, clutchmaster stage 2 clutch, engine mounts, wiring, etc........all in all after the car had a good tune up and everything was done, it was about $2500-$2700........but i did everything right the first time so stuff wouldn't happen down the road

 

then i payed like 725 for the zc at my door from hmotors, and spent 30 bucks for fluids to put it in, but ive already spent triple that on my b18c1 swap going in the hatch

 

b16a from osaka - 1050
hasport mount kit - 400
other misc **** - 300? total random guess?

Most likely can be done well for under 2 grand.

 

spent 1300 for my B16. from HMO.
600 for customs mounts/shift linkage
230 for energy suspension(felt might as replace everything)
new plugs,wires,dizzy,hoses,water pump, and such
I think over all i spent around 4500 for my swap, but at least i don't have to replace anything for a while.

 

i spent $2900 back in 2000 for a whole swap labor and grey plug conversion!

 

how much will it cost for my 1989 CRX HF with complete motor swap and etc.?

 

Plan on atleast $2000, cause the full swap form HMO is like $1500 plus the extra stuff you need like shift linkage, axles, motor mounts, etc.

 

Mine was about $3000

Because I'm picky and only want the best parts.

free= it came with my rex....but it cost me a grand to do ls/vtec...

 

mine was a 1000 with tranny&ecu....compression checks perfect and no grinds whatsoever....

 

My jdm b16b was 3200 from jdmhotline.com I paid 1000 for the hatch 200 on 1200 on the turbo kit of ebay then one of my "friends" stole myself turbo kit out of the garage.i hate people.
