Default B16 Build

Hey everyone, im goin all motor with my project cuz everyone uses a turbo and i look at it as cheap power.
anyways i have

P72 GSR head
ITR valves and valve springs
ITR cams
CTR standard bore pistons
B16A block
Skunk 2 intake manifold
CTR crank pulley

I plan on getting a 2 ply head gasket, and hondata intake manifold gasket, and a toda timing belt

how much power should i be making out of this setup?

I still need a header, ecu, cam gears, intake, ect. what kind of parts should i get for these?

Thanks for your help

Im using the P72 head because i bought the block and head seperate, and the P72 head has a smaller combustion chambr volume so it will raise the compression about .3 points.

thanks for your help everyone

The reason I said that is because the CTR pistons stick out of the top of the block because the CTR block is different, and if you are going to use a GSR head with square chambers the piston is going to smash into the head and become your worse nightmare. So you might want to change some thing before you put everything together. By the way CTR's are super heavy, try some JE's I'd recomend them.

I don't think 170 whp is out of the question if you have good engine management. But my biggest question is why would you want to go with a 2 layer headgasket. You're already undercammed with the setup as is. I'm going to recommend bigger cams before adding more compression.

If you really want to use those pistons try to get a LS or GSR block they will fit in those because the b16b block is the same deck height. I'd try to get some jun3's those cams are the **** don't get mislead by what these other people tell. Hit me up if you have any other questions

u can get somewhere around 180 with some good tuning....but i don't think u will have a problem with the pistons and the head that u have..i have b16 block and ctr pistons and when putting them in it was perfect i don't see how it would smash into the head.....it didn't stick out at all.stay with what u have and do lil block upgrades while ur at it...save u time and money later on

I would take the head off, get a nice port job, and some bigger cams w/ valvetrain...
All the power is made through the head, thats where you should put your $...
