i had a d15z1 vtec-e motor, it was dying out on me and i decided to swap the motor to a d16z6...i finally got around to swapping the motor out. i finish but i dunno why it starts up and the idle drops below 1000 rpm and shuts off...is it the fuel pump? if anyone knows anything...help out thanx

 

recheck all wiring and did you adjust the throttle cable?

 

werd .. check the throttle cable.. mine was idleing at 500 RPM on holding break.. 1000RPM on Neutral.. cable was loose tighten that **** up... everything is okay now..

 

Make sure you check and recheck all your plug connections at the throttle body.
