I got a DX hatch with a b18a1.

Yesterday my car was running straight for like a couple of miles or so and then my check engine light comes on. I park and turn off my car and let it sit for like a minute or so and then turn my car back on and the light is off. Then a couple of miles later my car starts to like bog out, hella smoke comes out my exhaust, and my light turns on again.

I got home and did that whole paper clip thing and it blinked 1 long time and 6 short times.

I looked up the code and got this "16 Fuel Injector System Defective or malfunctioning Fuel Injector System"

Does anyone know what i can do to fix this? Any information would help. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like its a stuck injector and its dumping fuel like a ****. Pull the injectors and make sure there's not visible defects with them, maybe run some fuel system cleaner through them. If this doesnt help, try replacing the injectors 1 by 1 with ones that work. - Darrell

Yeah that **** worked hahah. I bought that Chevron fuel injector cleaner and my car has been runnin straight for hella miles now. Thanks
