I installed a SRR rear sway bar and LCA's on my EJ8 but now the bolts that connect to the subframe arent long enough due to the spacer on the SRR sway bracket. I looked in the archives and I found someone mentioned 10x1.25 bolts. So I picked some grade 10 bolts 10x1.25 and they do not thread in. Does anyone know the exact bolt size I need? Thanks very much.

check the helms manual and find the correct size and just buy a longer bolt.

does the diameter seem to be about right? If so, its probably the pitch that isn't right.

I would try a 1.5 pitch.

You can also take the bolt that is too short to the store with you, they usually have a thing that you can thread your bolt into and it tells you what size/thread/pitch it is.

 

having the same problem here, oem bolt TOO SHORT for srr tie bar... does anyone know if there are any factory bolts (for other any part on the car) that come longer than the oem civic lca subframe bolt? I actually found a 4.5" bolt that fits perfect, but no ones knows which vehicle or part it is from and I still need one more. <p>

MYI make sure you get the same grade of bolt you had in the first place. Its on the tip.
