is the d16y8 head different from a d16z6 (dealing with oil passages). Because i have a d16y8 head on my d16z6 bottom end and VTEC DOES NOT WORK!!! I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING!! My setup is Eagle Rods, SRP Pistons, ZEX valve springs, TI retainers and a stage 2 cam. Oil pressure is good, Rocker Arm assembly is good, cam is good, solenoid is good. NO CODES, MY SPEEDO WORKS, I WAIT TILL WARM-UP, ive done everything. Still no VTEC. When the solenoid opens while in VTEC where does the oil come out? In the middle of the rocker arm assembly? Can someone explain what is wrong????
