Removing back seats EG hatch
While in the process of taking out my seats, I pull on the circle **** to let the seat go downwards. While i pull on it, it just comes out and the seat is still attached to the "lock" so to speak. Is there a safety switch somewhere that I can push near the rear lock to get them out or am i going to have to cut the metal piece that holds the back seat?
safety switch? WTH are you talking about?
I'm guessing when you pulled on the ****, the **** fell out? I Think the **** is threaded so try screwing it back in and pulling on it. You could also try getting some long needle nose pliers and pull on the rod. After that, there are those plastic spacers that are located on the outside lower portion of the back rests where it pivots. pop those out and push the seat towards the sides and it'll come out.
Don't know if I helped you any...

thanks cuong-nutz it's pretty much what you said i'll try and find the **** if not i'll try the needle nose method. The problem is though the **** seems to have cracked maybe and it doesn't go into the thread to pull up.
