Is it possible to drop a nsx motor into a 91
crx or civic

as to mr. carpenters thread...the C32A is the legend motor and the C32B is the NSX motor. the A is non-vtec IIRC.

And yes, anything's possible. In a drunken stupor on friday I discussed mating the C32B in the back of a hatch to some sort of AWD tranny to make it something along the lines of the AWD porsches. After that I punched a wall and killed my hand, but yes it's possible. You'd want to do it yourself, because paying a shop to do it would kill you financially.

i was thinking along the lines of a s2k motor with a k trans like out of a accord....still keep it ff.........and it works......ive seen it done, it was a 92 accord down in philly. thats a crazy swap

it's been done. there is a CRX with a NSX drivetain. 11.2 seconds stock. i don't know how much it costed them to do it. garentee a few pretty pennies.

I think it was signal that pulled it off in an EG.

In a 4th gen with its tiny motor bay i dunno unless your willing to stuff it in the back.

It may be better for the original poster to get his hands on a wrecked Accord V-6 and use that engine for the rear. As long as he has a 2nd ride, because that is one project that will definetely take some time.
