I just got my car back from the body shop on Friday morning and the damn weather sucks and it rained on it already, I know not to really wash it for 2 weeks but I was going to spray it off with water and wondered what to you to dry it off. Can you use an absorber or a shami or is there something else you guys would suggest, I dont want to scratch the paint up. Thanks

 

If I were you I would just spray it off with water, if you must dry it off, I would use a new terrycloth that has been washed.

 

Microfiber towel is your friend. Get a Mr. Clean washing mit and a Microtex towel from Wal-Mart. I also bought some Meguiars car wash.

you can wash the car - even if it's just been painted - then use an absorber to dry it off.
