for real....

on a STOCK B16 with bolt ons i ran a 8.7 @ 83 at BARONA drag strip
and a 8.9 @ 81 st QUALCOMM stadium.

never ran it on my 100 shot.

but im picking up new slicks tomorrow, and i'm hoping for 7s on the bottle or at least a 8.5 on the STOCK INTERNAL B16

what were the run breakdowns?

I have a buddy here with a completely stock B16 in a Hatch and he ran 8.9 on some autoX tires. It even had the stock airbox on it.

Damn you guys have some fast b16's around yall. I was a track ***** a year ago...i was there 2-3 times a week. The best time i saw on a b16 was a 9.1@76 or somethign that my friend pulled out of his *** . He was running consistant 9.4's though. This was in an EG with a b16 with more than a few bolt ons.

I ran consistant 9.3's at 74-75mph. This was done with a b18a with i/e and nitto nt455 . Now ive got i/h/e/cams/s2 IM/traction bars and a better suspension setup. Im hoping for high 8's with the es100's(i know theyre not drag radials but theyre sure as hell stickier than the nittos).

PS-i also ran a 9.3 when i was turbo'd. But this was on 2 1/2 cylinders and 5.5psi...and i trapped 83 . Yea thats right...i blew it on the first run at the top of 1st

my 60's were around 2.4
i was running kumho 711's
b16a ihe, 50 shot
my times would have been better if i didn't suck at launching.
i rev to about 4k rpms and feather the clutch. once i gain traction i floor it and the nitrous kicks in. any sugestions besides getting slicks?

launch a little higher and continue to feather the clutch. just have to beat on it to get the lower numbers. you should be running low 2.2 atleast.

OUCH on the bottle?

read my times above.

i would say GET SLICKS, then squeeze out of the hole.

when i ran 8.7 @ 83 it was a decent track

when i ran the 8.9 @ 81 it was in a "parking lot track" (qualcomm stadium) think it may go slightly uphill too. LOL
