stainglass paint. you can find it at any arts and crafts store.

 

try 'vans lamp paint' ... it comes in various different colors, and yellow is one of the most common to find. jdmshit.com has it for $30 shipped, and if you do a google search you can find a can of it for about $5 cheaper than that. hope that helps!

When I was thinking of doing this for my EG, I was recommended to use krylon stained glass paint.

Krylon stained glass is exactly what I used on my EK fogs. Looks great. I used 3 coats of paint and then 4 coats of clear. Looks just like the true amber fog lights.

http://www.lamin-x.com. this stuff is far superior to spray paint and very easy to use. I have seen it done and it has help up very well on a buddies head lights.
