i'm in the process of putting an 03 YZF600 tank and R6 tail on my 90 FZR600, and i have a question regarding the components on the bottoms of each tank. On my FZR tank, there is one place where something is bolted up, and that's for the fuel shut off valve which has a hose that goes to the fuel filter and then to the fuel pump.

Now, on the YZF600 tank, on the bottom of it there are 2 places for 2 different components. What is originally bolted onto the FZR tank fits perfect into one of the places, but i'm not quite sure what the other one is for?

Since the the shut off valve, fuel filter, and fuel pump are all connected as one unit, should i just plug these holes up? My idea is that since the YZF600 tank comes from a newer bike, it is just some newer type of fuel system, but i'm not 100% ... so ya! any help is appreciated, thanks!
